If no one within your household suffers from allergies or unexplained signs or health problems and if, after a visible inspection of the inside in the ducts, you see no sign that the air ducts are contaminated with substantial deposits of dust or mildew (no musty odor or obvious mould expansion), having your air ducts cleaned might be avoidable.
